حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْحَرِيشِ، ثنا حُسَيْنٌ الْأَشْقَرُ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: " أُعِنْتُ أَنَا وَحَمْزَةُ وَعُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ عَلَى الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ - أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ: فَلَمْ يَغِبْ ذَلِكَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "
Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the day of Badr, Hamzah, Ubaydah bin al-Harith and I were helped against al-Walid bin Utbah. The narrator said: I think he also said: and this was not hidden from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
