Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2935 — On the day of Uhud, among the Muslims

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، قَالَ: «وَقُتِلَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، قَتَلَهُ وَحْشِيٌّ مَوْلَى عُتْبَةَ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ» .
Urwah narrates: On the day of Uhud, among the Muslims who were killed alongside the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and then from Banu Hashim, was Hamzah bin Abd al-Muttalib; he was killed by Wahshi, the slave of Utbah bin Ghazwan.
