حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَسْرُوقِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: رَجَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ، فَسَمِعَ نِسَاءَ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ يَبْكِينَ عَلَى هَلْكَاهُنَّ، فَقَالَ: «لَكِنَّ حَمْزَةَ لَا بَوَاكِيَ لَهُ» . فَجِئْنَ نِسَاءُ الْأَنْصَارُ يَبْكِينَ عَلَى حَمْزَةَ عِنْدَهُ، فَاسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُنَّ يَبْكِينَ، فَقَالَ: «يَا وَيْحَهُنَّ، إِنَّهُنَّ هَاهُنَا حَتَّى الْآنَ، مُرْهُنَّ فَلْيَرْجِعْنَ وَلَا يَبْكِينَ عَلَى هَالِكٍ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned on the day of Uhud and heard the women of Banu Abd al-Ashhal weeping over their dead, and he said: "But Hamzah has no women to weep for him." So the women of the Ansar came to him (peace and blessings be upon him) to weep over Hamzah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) was asleep and woke at the sound of their weeping, and said: "Woe to them! Are they still here? Tell them to go back, and not to weep over anyone who dies after today."
