حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي غَنِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: «آخَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَبَيْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ، وَاسْتُشْهِدَ حَمْزَةُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) established brotherhood between Hamzah bin Abd al-Muttalib and Zayd bin Harithah, and Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred on the day of Uhud.
