حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ الْحَنَفِيُّ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْجَوَارِبِيُّ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَخْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوْنٍ مَوْلَى الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «تَزَوَّجَ عَبْدُ الْمُطَّلِبِ هَالَةَ بِنْتَ أُهَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافِ بْنِ زُهْرَةَ، فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ حَمْزَةَ وَصَفِيَّةَ»
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from his father (Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him); he said: Abd al-Muttalib married Halah bint Uhayb bin Abd Manaf bin Zuhrah, and she bore him Hamzah and Safiyyah.
