حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ غَالِبٍ، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: «مَنْ أَحَبَّنَا لِلدُّنْيَا فَإِنَّ صَاحِبَ الدُّنْيَا يُحِبُّهُ الْبَرُّ وَالْفَاجِرُ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّنَا لِلَّهِ كُنَّا نَحْنُ وَهُوَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَهَاتَيْنِ» . وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى
Sayyiduna Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Whoever loves us for the sake of this world, then the man of this world is loved by the righteous and the wicked alike; and whoever loves us for the sake of Allah, we and he will be like these two on the Day of Resurrection", and he pointed with his index finger and middle finger.
