حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي أُمُّ أَبِي قَالَتْ: «رَأَيْتُ الْوَرْسَ الَّذِي أُخِذَ مِنْ عَسْكَرِ الْحُسَيْنِ صَارَ مِثْلَ الرَّمَادِ»
The narrator's grandmother (his father's mother) said: I saw that the wars (a fragrant yellow dye) that was taken from the camp of Husayn had turned like ashes.
