حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهَا، فَمَرَّ عَلَى بَيْتِ فَاطِمَةَ، فَسَمِعَ حُسَيْنًا يَبْكِي رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَقَالَ: «أَلَمْ تَعْلَمِي أَنَّ بُكاءَهُ يُؤْذِينِي؟»
Yazid bin Abi Ziyad said: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out of the house of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and passed by the house of Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), and he heard Husayn crying. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you not know that his crying hurts me?"
