حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: «مَا رُفِعَ بِالشَّامِ حَجَرٌ يَوْمَ قُتِلَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ إِلَّا عَنْ دَمٍ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ»
Ibn Shihab said: On the day Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred, no stone was lifted in Syria except that blood came out from beneath it.
