حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ سَجَّادَةُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاهِرٍ الرَّازيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْقُدُّوسِ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ حَنَشِ بنِ الْمُعْتَمِرِ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ أَخَذَ بِعِضَادَتَيْ بَابِ الْكَعْبَةِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: مَنْ عَرَفَنِي فَقَدْ عَرَفَنِي، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْنِي فَأَنَا أَبُو ذَرٍّ الْغِفَارِيُّ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَثَلُ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي فِيكُمْ كَمَثَلِ سَفِينَةِ نُوحٍ، فِي قَوْمِ نُوحٍ، مَنْ رَكِبَها نَجَا، وَمَنْ تَخَلَّفَ عَنْهَا هَلَكَ، وَمَثَلُ بَابِ حِطَّةٍ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ»
The narrator said: I saw Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) holding the two doorposts of the door of the Ka'bah, saying: Whoever knows me knows me, and whoever does not know me, I am Abu Dharr al-Ghifari. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The example of my household (Ahl al-Bayt) among you is like the ark of Nuh (peace be upon him) among his people: whoever boarded it was saved, and whoever stayed behind from it perished. And (its) example is that of the Gate of Hittah among the Children of Israel."
