Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2584 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: This son

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَغْرَاءَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ ابْنِي - يَعْنِي الْحَسَنَ - سَيِّدٌ، ولَيُصْلِحَنَّ اللهُ بِهِ بَيْنَ فِئَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This son of mine - meaning Hasan - is a leader (sayyid), and Allah will surely bring about reconciliation through him between two groups of the Muslims."
