حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَوَّاشُ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ خَيْثَمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ الْعَامِرِيِّ أَنَّهُمْ خَرَجُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى طَعَامٍ دُعُوا إِلَيْهِ، فَإِذَا حُسَيْنٌ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَلْعَبُ مَعَ صِبْيَانٍ، فَاسْتَقْبَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَبَسَطَ يَدَهُ، فَجَعَلَ الْغُلَامُ يَفِرُّ هَاهُنَا وَهَاهُنَا، فَيُضاحِكُهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى أَخَذَهُ، فَجَعَلَ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ فِي عُنُقِهِ، وَالْأُخْرَى فِي فَأْسِ رَأْسِهِ، ثُمَّ اعْتَنَقَهُ فَقَبَّلَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «حُسَيْنٌ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْ حُسَيْنٍ، أَحَبَّ اللهُ مَنْ أَحَبَّ حُسَيْنًا، حُسَيْنٌ سِبْطٌ مِنَ الْأَسْبَاطِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah al-Amiri (may Allah be pleased with him) that they went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to a meal to which they had been invited, and there was Sayyiduna al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) playing with some boys. He came in front of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who spread out his hand, and the boy began running this way and that, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) made him laugh until he caught him. He placed one of his hands on his neck and the other on the back of his head, then embraced him and kissed him, then said: "Husayn is from me and I am from Husayn. May Allah love whoever loves Husayn. Husayn is a grandson among the grandsons."
