حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَدُعِينَا إِلَى طَعَامٍ، فَإِذَا الْحُسَيْنُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَلْعَبُ فِي الطَّرِيقِ، فَأَسْرَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَامَ الْقَوْمِ، ثُمَّ بَسَطَ يَدَيْهِ، فَجَعَلَ حُسَيْنٌ يَمُرُّ مَرَّةً هَاهُنَا وَمَرَّةً هَاهُنَا، فَيُضاحِكُهُ حَتَّى أَخَذَهُ، فَجَعَلَ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ فِي ذَقْنِهِ، وَالْأُخْرَى بَيْنَ رَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ، ثُمَّ اعْتَنَقَهُ فَقَبَّلَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «حُسَيْنٌ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ، أَحَبَّ اللهُ مَنْ أَحَبَّهُ، الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ سِبْطَانِ مِنَ الْأَسْبَاطِ»
Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when we were invited to a meal, and there was Sayyiduna al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) playing in the road. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) hurried ahead of the people, then spread out his hands, and Husayn would run past now this way and now that way, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would make him laugh until he caught him. He placed one hand on his chin and the other between his head and his ears, then embraced him and kissed him. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Husayn is from me and I am from Husayn. May Allah love whoever loves him. Hasan and Husayn are two grandsons among the grandsons."
