Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2499 — I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: «قَدِمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ نُزُولِ الْمَائِدَةِ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) after Surah al-Ma'idah had been revealed, and I saw him (peace and blessings be upon him) wiping over the leather socks."
