حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْأَعْرَجُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْعِجْلِيُّ، ثنا نَاصِحٌ أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution (wudu) and wiped over his leather socks.
