حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، قَالَ: «أَسْلَمَ الزُّبَيْرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ، وَقُتِلَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ بِضْعٍ وَسِتِّينَ»
Hisham bin Urwah said: Al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam at the age of sixteen, and when he was martyred he was in his sixties.
