Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 233 — Al-Zubayr struck Asma' bint Abi Bakr

Hisham bin Urwah said: Al-Zubayr struck Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her), and she called out to Abdullah bin al-Zubayr. He came, and when al-Zubayr saw him he said: Your mother is divorced if you come in. Abdullah said to him: "Do you make my mother the target of your oath?" Then he burst in on him and freed her from him, and so Asma' became separated from al-Zubayr. The narrator said: And when I was a boy, I would sometimes take hold of the hair on al-Zubayr's shoulders.
