Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 232 — Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib met Sayyiduna

It is narrated from Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) met Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) in the market, and the two reproached each other over something concerning the affair of Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). Then Abdullah bin al-Zubayr spoke harshly to Ali. Ali said: Do you not hear what he is saying to me? So al-Zubayr struck his son Abdullah until he fell down.
