Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 227 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Every
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْأَسَدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، وَشَرِيكٌ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is al-Zubayr."
