حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: «كَانُوا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ اجْتِمَاعَ أَهْلِ الْمَيِّتِ وَصَنْعَةَ الطَّعَامِ مِنَ النِّيَاحَةِ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "They used to regard gathering at the house of the deceased's family and preparing food as part of wailing."
