Adi bin Dinar from Umm Qays (may Allah be pleased with her)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21909 — she asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمِقْدَامِ ثَابِتِ بْنِ هُرْمُزٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتِ مِحْصَنٍ: أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضَةِ يُصِيبُ الثَّوْبَ، فَقَالَ: «اغْسِلِيهِ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ، وَحُكِّيهٍ بِضِلَعٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Qays bint Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with her) that she asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about menstrual blood that gets on clothing. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Wash it with water and lote-tree (sidr) leaves, and scrape it with a bone."
