حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ، ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتِ مِحْصَنٍ: أَنَّهَا «أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِابْنٍ لَهَا صَغِيرٍ لَمْ يَأْكُلِ الطَّعَامَ، فَأَجْلَسَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حِجْرِهِ، فَبَالَ عَلَيْهِ فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَاءٍ، فَنَضَحَهُ وَلَمْ يَغْسِلْهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Qays bint Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with her) that she brought a small son of hers, who did not yet eat food, to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) seated him in his lap, and he urinated on him (peace and blessings be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water, sprinkled it over it, and did not wash it.
