Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21846 — I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying: Listen

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: " اسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا وَإِنْ أُمِّرَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَبْدٌ يَقُودُكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ، يَقُولُ: اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ. قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا، قَالُوا: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ بَعْدَ الثَّالِثَةِ. وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ "
Sayyidah Umm al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Listen and obey, even if a slave is appointed as your ruler who leads you according to the Book of Allah." And I also heard him (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said it three times. The people said: "And those who shorten their hair?" After the third time, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And those who shorten their hair as well."
