حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ غُلَيْبٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الرَّمْلِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ السَّاعِدِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ يَمْنَعُنَا أَزْوَاجُنَا أَنَّ نُصَلِّيَ مَعَكَ، وَنُحِبُّ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَكَ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صَلَاتُكُنَّ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُنَّ فِي حُجُرِكُنَّ، وَصَلَاتُكُنَّ فِي حُجُرِكُنَّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُنَّ فِي دُورِكُنَّ، وَصَلَاتُكُنَّ فِي دُورِكُنَّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُنَّ فِي الْجَمَاعَةِ»
Sayyidah Umm Humayd al-Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I said: O Messenger of Allah! Our husbands prevent us from praying with you, although we love to pray with you. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your praying in your inner rooms is better than your praying in your chambers, your praying in your chambers is better than your praying in the houses of your neighbourhood, and your praying in the houses of your neighbourhood is better than praying in congregation."
