حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، عَنْ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أُمِّ الْحَكَمِ، أَخْبَرَتْنِي أُمِّي أُمُّ الْحَكَمِ، قَالَتْ: " قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ مَغْزًى، وَقَدْ أَصَابَ رَقِيقًا، فَذَهَبْتُ أَنَا وَأُخْتِي، فَدَخَلْنَا عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ، فَذَهَبْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَسَأَلْنَاهُ أَنْ يُحْبِيَنَا وَذَكَرْنَا حَاجَاتِنَا، فَقَالَ: سَبَقَكُمْ يَتَامَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm al-Hakam (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from an expedition, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) had obtained some slaves. My sister and I went to Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), then we went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him to grant us something especially, and we mentioned our needs. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The orphans of the people of Badr have come before you."
