Umm Sa'd al-Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), wife of Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21793 — from Sayyidah Umm Sa'd al-Ansariyyah
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَعْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ، امْرَأَةِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَيْسَ عَلَى مَنِ اسْتَفَادَ مَالًا زَكَاةٌ، حَتَّى يَحُولَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَوْلُ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Sa'd al-Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him), that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever acquires new wealth, zakah is not due on it until a year has passed over it."
