Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) visited them one day, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for me so much that I did not care whether it would be more. (Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that my mother said:) I said to him (peace and blessings be upon him): "There is one of my family who has a special place with me, and I would like you to make a special supplication for him." He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Who is he?" I said: "May my father and mother be ransomed for you, your servant Anas." The narrator said: So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for me so much that I did not care whether there was no more, and among what he (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated was: "And grant him wealth and children." Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I do not know of anyone who has been granted the ease and comfort of life that I have been granted, and with these two hands of mine I have buried a hundred of my children, and I am not saying that they were miscarried or that they were grandchildren.
