أم أيمن أم أسامة بن زيد مولاة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كانت لأخت خديجة فوهبتها لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فأنكحها زيد بن حارثة ويقال اسمها بركة
Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her), mother of Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave woman of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); she belonged to the sister of Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), who gave her to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he married her to Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him); her name is said to have been Barakah
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21683 — on the day Sayyiduna Umar was martyred
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ يَوْمَ قُتِلَ عُمَرُ: «الْيَوْمَ وَهَى الْإِسْلَامُ»
Tariq bin Shihab related: Sayyidah Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) said on the day Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred: "Today Islam has become weak."
