أم أيمن أم أسامة بن زيد مولاة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كانت لأخت خديجة فوهبتها لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فأنكحها زيد بن حارثة ويقال اسمها بركة
Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her), mother of Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave woman of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); she belonged to the sister of Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), who gave her to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he married her to Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him); her name is said to have been Barakah

حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مِقْلَاصٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: كَانَتْ أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ أُمُّ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ مِنَ الْحَبَشَةِ، وَكَانَتْ وَصِيفَةً لِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، وَكَانَتْ تَحْضُنُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ صَغِيرٌ فَأَعْتَقَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ أَنْكَحَهَا زَيْدَ بْنَ حَارِثَةَ، وَتُوُفِّيَتْ بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِخَمْسَةِ أَشْهُرٍ " هَكَذَا قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ وَرَوَى فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّهَا عَاشَتْ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ
Al-Zuhri related: Umm Ayman, the mother of Usamah bin Zayd, was from Abyssinia, and she was the slave-girl of Abdullah bin Abd al-Muttalib, and she used to look after the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in his childhood. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) freed her, then married her to Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him). She passed away five months after the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). This is how al-Zuhri related it, whereas another narration states that she lived on until after the death of Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him).
