باب من يعرف من النساء بالكنى لمن لم ينته إلينا أسماؤهن ممن لهن صحبة فمنهن أم كلثوم بنت عقبة بن أبي معيط امرأة عبد الرحمن بن عوف
Chapter: Women known by their kunyahs whose names have not reached us, among the female Companions; among them is Umm Kulthum bint Uqbah bin Abi Mu'ayt (may Allah be pleased with her), wife of Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21658 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو حُمَة مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا أَبُو قُرَّةَ، قَالَ: ذَكَرَ زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ عُتْبَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَيْسَ بِالْكَاذِبِ مَنْ أَصْلَحَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ، فَقَالَ خَيْرًا، أَوْ نَمَى خَيْرًا»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Kulthum bint Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The liar is not the one who makes peace between people, saying something good or conveying something good."
