حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: لَمَّا رَجَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ أُحُدٍ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ، فَحَمِدَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ: {رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللهَ عَلَيْهِ} [الأحزاب: ٢٣] الْآيَةَ كُلَّهَا، فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ فَأَقْبَلْتُ وَعَلَيَّ ثَوْبَانِ أَخْضَرَانِ، فَقَالَ: «أَيُّهَا السَّائِلُ، هَذَا مِنْهُمْ»
Musa bin Talhah narrates from his father; he said: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from Uhud, he ascended the pulpit, praised and extolled Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and then he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "Among the believers are men who have been true to the covenant they made with Allah" [al-Ahzab: 23], reciting the whole verse. A man stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah! Who are these people? The narrator (Talhah) said: I then came forward wearing two green garments, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O questioner! This man is one of them."
