حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ زُرَيْقِ الرَّاسِبِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ آمِنَةَ بِنْتِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ سَعْدٍ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: " أَفْتِنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَنْ لَمْ يَغْزُ وَأَعْطَى مَالَهُ يُغْزَى عَلَيْهِ، فَلَهُ أَجْرٌ أَمْ لِلْمُنْطَلِقِ؟ قَالَ: لَهُ أَجْرُ مَالِهِ وَلِلْمُنْطَلِقِ أَجْرُ مَا احْتُسِبَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ "
Sayyidah Maymunah bint Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah, give us a ruling: one who does not go out to fight himself but gives his wealth so that fighting may be done with it, will he have a reward, or only the one who goes out to fight? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He will have the reward of his wealth, and the one who goes out will have a reward according to his sincerity."
