حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ هَارُونَ الْقَزَّازُ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رِشْدِينَ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ إِذَا سَمِعَتْ أَحَدًا، يَقْرَأُ وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ، قَالَتْ: «صَلَّى الله عَلَى رَسُولِهِ قَرَأَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ بِالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا، لَمْ يُصَلِّ لَنَا عِشَاءً حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ»
Whenever Sayyidah Umm al-Fadl bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her) heard someone reciting Surah al-Mursalat, she would say: "May Allah send blessings upon His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) recited Wal-mursalati 'urfa in the Maghrib prayer, and after that he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not lead us in any Isha prayer until Allah Almighty took his (peace and blessings be upon him) soul."
