Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21430 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَذُوعِيُّ الْقَاضِي، ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، ثنا فَائِدٌ الْعَطَّارُ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " السُّبَّاقُ أَرْبَعَةٌ: أَنَا سَابِقُ الْعَرَبِ، وَسَلْمَانُ سَابِقُ فَارِسَ، وَصُهَيْبٌ سَابِقُ الرُّومِ، وَبِلَالٌ سَابِقُ الْحَبَشِ "
Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The forerunners are four: I am the forerunner of the Arabs, Salman is the forerunner of the Persians, Suhayb is the forerunner of the Romans, and Bilal is the forerunner of the Abyssinians."
