حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، أَنَّ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ، جَاءَتْ بِرَجُلَيْنِ فَأَرَادَ عَلِيٌّ قَتْلَهُمَا، فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ: «قَدْ أَجَرْنَا مَنْ أَجَارَتْ أُمُّ هَانِئٍ»
Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) came with two men, and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) intended to kill them. So she came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned this to him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whomever Umm Hani has granted protection, we too have granted him protection."
