Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of the Conquest of Makkah and found him taking a bath, while his daughter Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) was screening him with a garment. I greeted him with salam, and that was at the time of Duha (the forenoon). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Who is this?" I said: "Umm Hani bint Abi Talib." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Welcome to Umm Hani." When he (peace and blessings be upon him) had finished his bath, he prayed eight rak'ahs, wrapped in a single garment. Then he finished, and I said: "O Messenger of Allah! My brother claims that he will kill so-and-so the son of Hubayrah, a man whom I have granted protection." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "We too have granted protection to whomever Umm Hani granted protection."
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Al-Dabari narrated it in this way from Abd al-Razzaq, from Imam Malik, from Maymun bin Maysarah, and he made an error in it. The correct version is what al-Qa'nabi and others narrated from Imam Malik, from Musa bin Maysarah.
