حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ، قَالَتْ: «خَطَبَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاعْتَذَرْتُ إِلَيْهِ، فَعَذَرَنِي»
Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) proposed marriage to me, and I made my excuses to him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted my excuse."
