حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنِي عِمْرَانُ بْنُ أَبِي أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ فَأَخْبَرَتْنِي، أَنَّ زَوْجَهَا الْمَخْزُومِيَّ طَلَّقَهَا فَأَبَى أَنْ يُنْفِقَ عَلَيْهَا، فَجَاءَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَتْهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا نَفَقَةَ لَكِ، فَاذْهَبِي فَانْتَقِلِي إِلَى ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ فَكُونِي عِنْدَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ رَجُلٌ أَعْمَى تَضَعِينَ ثِيَابَكِ عِنْدَهُ» ،
It is narrated from Sayyidah Fatimah bint Qays (may Allah be pleased with her) that her husband from Banu Makhzum divorced her and refused to spend on her. So she came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are not entitled to maintenance. Go and move to the house of Ibn Umm Maktum and stay with him, for he is a blind man; you can take off your outer garments in front of him."
