حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ طَارِقٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتَ حِزَامٍ، أَنَّهَا «جَعَلَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي صُورِ نَخْلٍ كَنَسَتْهُ وَطَيَّبَتْهُ، وَذَبَحَتْ لَهُ شَاةً فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ فَقَدَّمَتْ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ لَحْمِهَا فَأَكَلَ، وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ، وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Amrah bint Hizam (may Allah be pleased with her) that she prepared a place for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a grove of date palms, swept it and perfumed it, and slaughtered a goat for him. He (peace and blessings be upon him) ate from it, then performed ablution (wudu) and prayed the Zuhr prayer. Then she presented to him (peace and blessings be upon him) some more of that meat, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ate, and prayed the Asr prayer without performing ablution.
