Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21181 — I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wet
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْكِرَامِ الْجَعْفَرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، قَالَتْ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَلَّ ثَوْبًا وَهُوَ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ، ثُمَّ جَعَلَ يَضْرِبُ التَّصَاوِيرَ الَّتِي فِيهَا»
Sayyidah Safiyyah bint Shaybah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wet a cloth while he was inside the Ka'bah, and then he began to rub out the images that were in it.
