Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2117 — a man called Juz' came to the Prophet ﷺ

Asad bin Wada'ah narrated that a man called Juz' came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, my family make me angry; how should I punish them? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Forgive." Then he repeated the same question a second time, until he had repeated it three times. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you must punish, then punish in proportion to the offence, and avoid striking the face."
