حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا طَاهِرُ بْنُ أَبِي أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ إِلْيَاسَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ، عَنِ الشِّفَاءِ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَسْقَى يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: «اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا» وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ
It is narrated from Sayyidah al-Shifa' bint Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for rain on Friday in the mosque, raised both his hands and said: "Seek forgiveness from your Lord; indeed, He is Ever-Forgiving." And he ((peace and blessings be upon him)) turned his cloak around.
