حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، مِنْ عَيَّاشٍ، ثنا ثَعْلَبَةُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ خَلَقَ الدَّاءَ وَالدَّوَاءَ فَتَدَاوَوْا، وَلَا تَتَدَاووا بِحَرَامٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty created both disease and cure, so seek treatment, but do not seek treatment with what is unlawful."
