Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20928 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Do

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُعَاذٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ حَوَّاءَ قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا ترُدُّوا السَّائِلَ، وَلَوْ بِظِلْفٍ مُحْرَقٍ»
Sayyidah Hawwa (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Do not turn the beggar away empty-handed, even if it is only with a burnt hoof."
