حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ حُكَيْمَةَ بِنْتِ أُمَيْمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا، أُمَيْمَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ لِلنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدَحٌ مِنْ عِيدَانٍ يَبُولُ فِيهِ، وَيَضَعُهُ تَحْتَ سَرِيرِهِ فَقَامَ فَطَلَبَ فَلَمْ يَجِدُهُ فَسَأَلَ فَقَالَ: «أَيْنَ الْقَدَحُ؟» ، قَالُوا: شَرِبَتْهُ بَرَّةُ خَادِمُ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ الَّتِي قَدِمَتْ مَعَهَا مِنْ أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَقَدِ احْتَظَرَتْ مِنَ النَّارِ بِحِظَارٍ»
Sayyidah Umaymah (may Allah be pleased with her), from whom her daughter Hukaymah narrates, said: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a wooden vessel in which he (peace and blessings be upon him) would urinate, and he would place it under his bed. Once he (peace and blessings be upon him) got up and looked for it but did not find it, so he asked: "Where is the vessel?" The people said: Barrah, the servant of Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), who had come with her from the land of Abyssinia, has drunk it. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "She has made for herself a strong barrier against the Fire."
