حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَتْ: «نَزَلَتِ الْأَنْعَامُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً، وَأَنَا آخِذَةٌ بِزِمَامِ نَاقَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ كَانَتْ مِنْ ثِقَلِهَا لَتَكْسِرُ عَظْمَ النَّاقَةِ»
Sayyidah Asma' bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Surah al-An'am was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) all at once, complete, while I was holding the halter of the she-camel of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); from its weight the she-camel's bones were about to break.
