حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَتْ: انْطَلَقْتُ مَعَ أَخِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلِيَّ سِوَارَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَقَالَ: «أَيَسُرُّكِ أَنْ يُسَوِّرَكِ اللهُ بِسُوَارَيْنِ مِنْ نَارٍ؟» فَانْتَزَعْتُهُمَا فَرَمَيْتُهُما فَلَا أَدْرِي أَيَّ النَّاسِ أَخَذَهُمَا
Sayyidah Asma' bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I went with my brother to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while I had two gold bracelets on my hands. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Would it please you that Allah should put two bracelets of fire on you?' So I took them off and threw them away, and I do not know who picked them up."
