Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20755 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ali
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ مُوسَى الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُسَيْنِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعَلِيٍّ: «أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى وَلَكِنْ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي»
Sayyidah Asma' bint Umays (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "You are to me in the position that Harun (peace be upon him) had with Musa (peace be upon him), except that there is no prophet after me."
