Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20728 — a woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ الْبَرَاءُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ صَفِيَّةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي زَوَّجَتُ ابْنَتِي، وَإِنَّهَا مَرِضَتْ وتَمَرَّطَ رَأْسُهَا، وَإِنَّ زَوْجَهَا قَدِ اخْتَلَفَ إِلَيَّ أَفَأَصِلُ شَعَرَهَا؟ «فَسَبَّ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that a woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I married off my daughter, and she fell ill and her hair fell out, and her husband keeps coming to me. May I join extensions to her hair? So he (peace and blessings be upon him) reviled the woman who joins hair and the woman who has it joined.
