حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَنَّهَا أَخْرَجَتْ جُبَّةً مَزْرُورَةً بِالدِّيبَاجِ، فَقَالَتْ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَلْبَسُ هَذِهِ فِي الْحَرْبِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that she brought out a cloak whose buttons were of brocade (silk) and said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wear this in war."
